Truss Bridges
Our history with truss bridges dates from our inception to our most recently acclaimed $1.2 billion Huey P. Long Bridge truss-widening project. We’ve pioneered the use of new gusset plate analysis procedures to help multiple bridge owners in the wake of the I-35 bridge collapse. Be it a long span crossing or short span pony truss, any bridge design must account for diverse elements, from earthquakes and vessel collisions to high winds and terrorism. We carefully assess the demands of each project and develop solutions that exceed expectations.
