M&M to Attend APC/PennDOT Fall Seminar

MECHANICSBURG, PA | Modjeski and Masters will attend and exhibit at the 2015 APC/PennDOT Fall Seminar November 18-20 at the Hershey Lodge & Convention Center. Company representatives will be available to discuss new capabilities gained through the recent acquisition of Summit Engineering Group. These include design and construction of segmental concrete bridges and increased expertise in partnering with contracting firms.

“There’s been a sizeable shift in recent years in the expectations of what a designer/contractor relationship entails,” said Michael F. Britt, PE, senior vice president and director of business development at Modjeski and Masters. “With the added expertise of Summit, we’re well positioned to provide the level of service and partnership contractors, project owners and fabricators expect. This is a great opportunity to introduce these capabilities to an influential regional audience.”

The three-day APC/PennDOT seminar will bring together hundreds of representatives from contracting, design and engineering firms across Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic. It’s an opportunity to learn from transportation authorities and about the latest products, services and business improvements that shape our industry.

“When project owners, contractors and fabricators are looking for a partner, we want Modjeski and Masters to be at top of their list,” said Mr. Britt. “In addition to their experience with contractors, Summit are experts in segmental concrete bridges. When combined with our existing expertise in steel, movable, arch and cable-stayed structures, we now have the ability to offer solutions to any bridge design challenge.”

Modjeski and Masters will exhibit at Booth #6 at the APC/PennDOT Fall Seminar. To set up a meeting, please contact Jim Nugent at jtnugent@modjeski.com.
