We are excited to announce our 2023 scholarship winner, Gianni Lumadue. Gianni is a rising senior at Pennsylvania State University pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
The “Masters of the Trade” scholarship recognizes excellence in engineering with a monetary award and an internship opportunity for one undergraduate student who displays exceptional promise in their study.
Gianni is joining our firm’s team for the second time. He first worked alongside our engineers as an intern in 2022, physically inspecting mechanical elements of bridges, performing CAD design and FEA analysis, and writing maintenance manuals.
With his degree, Gianni hopes to improve the safety, efficiency, and condition of moveable bridges by increasing the lifespan of mechanical components.
