Our Structure

As a member of the Railroad Business Unit, you will work on the evaluation and rehabilitation of new and existing railroad bridges of all types, including fixed, movable, girder, truss and arch structures.

This unit is home to electrical, mechanical, and structural engineers. As a member of the Movable Bridge Unit you participate in the design and rehabilitation of movable structures.

The National Bridge Group focuses on complex and long span fixed bridge design. This unit is also responsible for our research expertise and specification development efforts. Engineers in this unit are responsible for forensic and collapse investigation and seismic and erection engineering.

In the Field Services Unit you will find engineers responsible for condition inspections of bridges and tunnels of various sizes and complexity. Our engineers in this group can be found climbing some of the most beautiful bridges in the nation. Interested in field work, travel, the outdoors? This is the unit for you. 

As the name suggests, our regional business units focus on pursuing project most relevant to them in proximity.  All regional offices employ a team of structural  and highway engineers and technicians. The physical office locations can also house members of a national unit.

The corporate business unit is comprised of finance, information technology, human resources, and business development staff who oversee those vital business operations.
