NEW YORK, NY | We are pleased to announce that the Portageville Bridge Replacement Project has received the 2018 “Highway/Bridge Award of Merit” from Engineering News-Record (ENR) New York.
A judge for the contest remarked: “This project was challenging from several aspects. The site configuration, the historic and environmental sensitivity and the unique construction approach using a loading factor that considered the double stack freight were all challenges well met. Clearly, close coordination between the designer, contractor, the state park agency and other stakeholders was well done here.”
Congratulations to the entire project team! To find out more information, please visit the ENR NY website…
