Jerilyn Hassard Named MidAmerica Regional Director

Modjeski and Masters, Inc. (M&M) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jerilyn Hassard, PE, SE as the MidAmerica Regional Director overseeing staff and business development in the Greater St. Louis Region.
Ms. Hassard joined M&M in 1998 and has served in various leadership roles on transportation design projects. She has been responsible for the analysis, design, inspection, and rehabilitation of highway and railroad structures of various sizes and complexity levels, including movable bridges and tunnels. She has also managed multiple Phase I/II/III projects varying in complexity from corridor realignments/replacement to simple approach roadway/structure replacements.
In addition to her role in MidAmerica, she also serves as the Officer in Charge of the Grand Rapids, Michigan and Miami, Florida Regional Offices, overseeing business growth and development in the two newest regions of the company. She continues to contribute to the firm’s overall development by serving on M&M’s Board of Directors and on various strategic planning committees.

- Bill Emerson Memorial Bridge Inspection and Repairs, Cape Girardeau, Missouri
- Joe Page Bridge, Hardin, Illinois

Ms. Hassard graduated from Southern Illinois University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. She is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Michigan, Florida, and Minnesota, and is a licensed structural engineer in Illinois. In 2019, she was awarded the Innovation in Transportation Award from the Women’s Transportation Seminar, St. Louis Chapter for her work on the MLK Bridge Approach Complex in St. Louis. In 2022, she and her team were awarded the ACEC-Illinois Engineering Excellence Honor Award for the MLK Bridge Approach Complex project. Ms. Hassard serves as a member of the ACEC-Illinois Bridge Committee and is the current chair of the ACEC-Illinois District 8 Liaison Committee.
