Modjeski and Masters welcomes Jeffrey Flanders, PE
Modjeski and Masters, Inc. (M&M) is pleased to announce Jeffrey S. Flanders, PE has joined the firm as a senior project manager.
Mr. Flanders joins Modjeski and Masters as part of the firm’s acquisition of Flanders Engineering Group, Inc. As the founder of Flanders Engineering Group, Mr. Flanders has 30 years of experience in electrical power and control engineering as well as structure balance engineering for movable bridges.
“We are excited to have Jeff at Modjeski and Masters,” said Mike Britt, President and CEO of Modjeski and Masters. “He brings a wealth of resources and knowledge of the movable bridge industry that will be a great asset to our work nationwide.”
Mr. Flanders is part of the Movable Bridge Business Unit where he will focus on recruiting staff and winning projects for his office, in addition to helping Modjeski and Masters grow its presence in Florida.
Some of Mr. Flanders’ most recent projects include:
- The annual and routine inspections of all Florida Department of Transportation-District 2 movable bridges
- Construction services and bridge balancing for the SR5/US1 Federal Highway Bridge replacement in Jupiter, FL
- Control System Integration services for the Southern Boulevard Bridge replacement in Palm Beach, FL
- Electrical/Mechanical system replacement for the Sheridan Street Bascule Bridge in Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Mr. Flanders graduated from Florida State University with a degree in electrical engineering and is a licensed professional engineer in Florida and Michigan.
