Throughout our history, Modjeski and Masters has provided bridge evaluation services to our clients.
These high-quality professional services include: field inspection, load capacity ratings and estimations of remaining fatigue life, special testing to determine the existence and extent of structural defects, maintenance recommendations, plans for strengthening existing bridges, and the repair, rehabilitation, and replacement of structures.
Our non-destructive testing includes liquid
penetrant and magnetic
particle testing of
rolled shapes,
weldments and castings;
ultrasonic testing of pins,
welds, anchor
bolts, or plates;
and visual weld inspection.
The designers of early bridges were expected to provide post- design services to assure constructability. Modjeski and Masters has carried on this tradition. Today routine and emergency field advice and inspection of construction, either in residence or advisory status, is a Modjeski and Masters hallmark.
