Technique Information:
This
technique typically involves two qualified/trained technical access
inspectors connected via a dynamic rope, where one of the inspectors acts as
the belay individual from a fixed position and the other inspects the
structure while moving about and placing intermediate anchors.
The lead individual continues moving/inspecting until he/she has
reached either an end point or a point near the end of the rope's length
and will then set up an anchor station.
The lead individual then becomes the belayer for the second
climber. |
