Our innovative stay cable inspection technique which utilizes rappelling with a cable roller directional allows a hands-on inspection of the entire length of stay cables, without disruptions to traffic.  This technique involves traditional rappelling methods for controlling the descent of the inspector, while a roller attached to the stay cable controls the direction of descend.  Essentially, the inspector “rolls” along the length of the cable from top to bottom.
